US Earns a “C” on the 2012 March of Dimes Premature Birth Report Card

Leading up to World Prematurity Day, we released our Premature Birth Report Card today. The good news: The U.S. preterm birth rate is at its lowest in a decade at 11.7%. But with 1 in 8 babies born too soon, our country’s rate is higher than that of most developed nations. How did your state do?
