Farmers Be A Hero For Babies Day is next Thursday, June 21st!

Posted by Volunteers

There are some great stories out there from Farmers agents being heroes for babies! Like this one:

Early on Saturday morning, April 28, Janet Trujillo-Landin, community relations specialist, joined other Farmers volunteers as part of the massive crowd expected at the Greater Los Angeles March for Babies at Exposition Park. “I have been walking for 18 years,” Trujillo says. “And my daughter has also walked at least 15 years, so it’s a family affair for us.”

More than 15,000 people turned out for the walk in Los Angeles. The event began when Faye McClure, vice president of Strategic Marketing, presented March of Dimes with a $1 million donation from Farmers. Then the crowd of men, women, children and even pets started walking the three-mile path.

For Farmers March of Dimes Ambassador mom and Home Office employee Arcie Esteban, it was her first, but not her last, March for Babies. Her son Elijah was born 28 weeks premature last year, weighing only 2 lbs, 11 oz. “The event was awesome,” Esteban says. “We had to get up at four this morning, but it was worth it.”

For more than 25 years, Farmers has supported the March of Dimes by raising awareness and millions of dollars to protect the health of babies and support families. To learn more or donate, please visit
